Dood Rock

The last night in Korea, we were aboard a cruise ship on the Han River in Seoul and there was a Korean Drum performance by the group Dood-Rock. It was a fusion of traditional Korean drumming with a hip-hop flavor. Got a chance to snap a few pics and work on my concert photography. SLR would have been 10X better, but I managed with my aging G2.

Korea on Business

The company sent me yet again to Asia: Seoul, Korea to be exact. There was a sculpture park adjacent to the hotel grounds, so I decided to take some pictures. The day was overcast, pretty much muting the colors, and the park did not have a variety of color, so I decided to post these photos in black and white.

We also went to dinner at Korea House, a traditional Korean restaurant. It is customary to take shoes off when entering a home, because families eat and sleep on the floor. There were traditional dining rooms there, but we ate western style in one of the banquet rooms.

Sebastiani Vineyard

Over the Memorial Day Weekend, I went with a bunch of college friends to Sonoma. Got a few pics at Sebastiani Vineyard, but a very small fraction of what I normally take on an outing. I was too busy eating and drinking wine. Decided to experiment with photoshop to create something artistic.
